The Mist (2007)
R / 2h 6m / Horror
As a species, we are fundamentally insane. Put more than two of us in a room, we pick sides and start dreaming up reasons to kill one another.
An ultimate horror piece examining human disintegration in the face of an unknown. I remember the very first time I watched it – I was young, I knew the tip of Stephen King and his works, and my father let me watch this. It was right up my alley – supernatural story, the portrayal of a super dad, an observation of humanity and extreme decision making but – I’ve never felt so empty at the end of a film. This one is truly a heartbreaker.
