I see you.

I get very emotional over this film. I remember the first time I watched it, I was so drawn to the Na’vi and their relationship to the world around them. The interconnectivity between beings and the earth (or given planet) is something I will buy into every time. I loved watching Jake, a man in a broken body, find his purpose and reason to live again in a new body. I loved watching Neytiri defy her clan’s expectations of her. I loved watching the two of them together, discovering, triumphing. My heart ached at the right times. My heart swelled at others. The whole thing is so submersive. Amazing.
